Fancy a strange looking fish containing a very fine sample of Bourbon – the label attached to the front it says that it was 100 months old when sold… more than 8 years; it was bought in the late 60′s / early 70′s in Salerno – so the Bourbon is well over 40 years old. Info on the label is that it’s 4/5ths of a quart – nearly 2 pints, of 80 proof Jim Beam Kentucky straight Bourbon Whiskey. The seal is unbroken. The little booklet that tucks into the top of the fish’d head goes on about competitive trout fishing and has the title of The National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame and the Rainbow Trout. I assume that’s American national, not British – it seems to be some sort of museum. The rainbow is referred to as ‘One of the most beautiful and fightingest members of the trout family.’ Happy bidding – I think that due to the nature of this item it is collection only – cash preferred please.
